In September 2007, Dr. Ken Ramos stepped down as Chairman of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology to pursue additional opportunities in the School of Medicine. Dr Russell Prough, past Chair of the Department, has been appointed as the Acting Chair while a national search for a permanant Chairperson is being conducted (see Chair Search)
